A traditional English-style Afternoon Tea with a bottomless fresh pot of tea is served in this elegant dining tea room. The menu ranges from a five course Prince Edward Island Tea to Olivia’s Tea. Shop for tea gifts in the Tea Emporium. Visit on your birthday and receive a free bag of tea.
Drop by this Tea room for a pot of high quality tea. Lunch, Afternoon Tea or a special Sunday Brunch. A Juvinili-tea is available for young ladies and gents with kid friendly finger sandwiches. A Princess Dress up Tea Party is available for the birthday girl.
This tea house and gift shop is listed with the Wayne Historical Society as the first official post office. A Young Royal Tea is available for youngsters 10 and under. A hearty country breakfast is offered on designated weekends. Open Thurs-Fri 11am-8pm, Sat-Sun 11am-6pm.

THE HISTORY OF AFTERNOON TEA
In 1840 Anna, Duchess of Bedford, established the tradition of the Afternoon Tea. Anna suffered from hunger spells in the late afternoon because of the long gaps between lunch and dinner. Bread with butter and cakes were brought to her room. She invited friends to join her and a favorite pastime for ladies was born.
THE PROPER WAY
TO STIR TEA 
Place your tea spoon at the 6 o’clock position. Lightly fold towards 12 o’clock, 2 or 3 times. Place the spoon quietly on the saucer on the right hand side.
